
WORCESTER— A quiet Wednesday night on Beacon Street turned tragic after gunfire erupted in what police are calling a domestic incident. Worcester Police responded to a report of a shooting just after 7:30 p.m., finding a man critically injured at the scene.
The victim was rushed to the hospital, but despite emergency efforts, he was later pronounced dead.
Police say one person has been arrested in connection with the shooting, but details are being kept close to the chest due to the domestic nature of the case. Names have not been released at this time.
